Technique:

I use many effects.  I am an "FX Artist" I guess you could say.  Here is the skinny...  I rely on Filter Forge, Photoshop Elements 10, Paint.net, and my creativity as well as stupidity from time to time.  I prefer to post to DeviantArt because it is a community of real Artists.  In DeviantArt, the opportunity exists to give something added behind the artwork (like right now, you are reading my thoughts).  I do get some ideas and stock from DeviantArt too. 

As for this rendering, ES 72 Black and White... it is redemption from ES 71 which was a failure, in my eyes.  Yes... I do post my failures.  ES 72 is a SUCCESS!  I used selection boxes and flood fill this time around; much cleaner lines.

How wonderful would life be today if all of our greatest artists from the past could explain what was happening when they created their work?  That is the future I see.  I see visual art becoming equally distributable, and profitable as audio art.  The more you give, the more you get.  Thanks World.

My 2 Cents - My thoughts of anything...

... and your opportunity to agree (or disagree I suppose).

I named this art as "Black and White" for a deeper meaning with what is going on in the World today.  When we have disagreements, sometimes it is good to focus on what we have in common.  God has no color, or is all colors.  It's that simple.  It's Black and White.
